TURNING THE IMAGES OFF Every page you look at on the internet requires data to be sent from the web site to your computer. At PlaNet we record the amount of data that is transferred from International Web sites to your computer. Your Account type allows a certain amount of free data and over and above this we charge. See our rates page for current details. We have a meter which allows you to keep a track of your online time and data. Click on the meter usage link on the left hand side of the page to learn how to check your online time and data. You will notice that when you download a page the pictures take the longest time to arrive and this means they contain the most data. On most modern Internet browsers it is possible to turn off the pictures and only see the text which reduces your data usage and speeds up browsing.
